Web Design always fascinated me, although it was complex. Most people would not agree with me and some will, but my point being is that there are limitless possibilities in this sector. Two years ago, you could have compared me with following chart

I broke several mouses during these 2 years. Most of the time I was able to fix it, but didn’t last long. So I thought to myself: Let’s get things organised!
And I did.
Believe me what I’ll tell you now. It will boost your time, get you fresh ideas to work, and you wont need to buy any new mouses again.
Here are a few basic tools you may want to download.
1. Firefox
First things first. Why FireFox? Well when I start using IE6 my computer got kind of buggy after a while. Most pop-ups kept annoying me. Overall, it was a pain in the ***. FireFox 2.0 came along with the ability to use tabs, MUCH quicker loading times, and seamless Internet surfing. I know IE7 came more than a year ago, but it hasn’t improved more than FireFox. Also check google for “problems with ….”
Problems with IE : 134.000.000 hits
Problems with FF: 27.600.000 hits
Convinced?
Now either way, you’ll need both to test out your website cause not all browser support the same css design.
1.1.Plugin
Here are some plug-ins I find really useful. This will certainly help you in any means possible.
Web Developer 1.1.6
The Web Developer extension adds a menu and a toolbar to the browser with various web developer tools. It is designed for Firefox, Flock and Seamonkey, and will run on any platform that these browsers support including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

ColorZilla 2.0
Advanced Eyedropper, ColorPicker, Page Zoomer and other colorful goodies. With ColorZilla you can get a color reading from any point in your browser, quickly adjust this color and paste it into another program. You can Zoom the page you are viewing and measure distances between any two points on the page. The built-in palette browser allows choosing colors from pre-defined color sets and saving the most used colors in custom palettes. DOM spying features allow getting various information about DOM elements quickly and easily.
Firebug 1.2.1
Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page.
IE tab 1.5.*
This is a great tool for web developers, since you can easily see how your web page displayed in IE with just one click and then switch back to Firefox.
FireFTP 1.0.2
Along with transferring your files quickly and efficiently, FireFTP also includes more advanced features such as: directory comparison, syncing directories while navigating, SFTP, SSL encryption, search/filtering, integrity checks, remote editing, drag & drop, file hashing, and much more!
There are still others plug-ins that are quite efficient. But let’s not get ahead of our self. Check out the plugin page for some other interesting addons.
